Analysis of the composition of each batch

Myrrh essential oil is a contemplative and profound oil that clearly grounds and calms without enveloping , giving a sense of stability and grounding.
It regulates the nervous system through stability and slowing down , not through mood changes or emotional arousal.

Myrrh Essential Oil (Commiphora myrrha)

Myrrh essential oil (Commiphora myrrha) is characterized by a deep, resinous aroma with a distinctly balsamic, warm character. It is obtained from mature, well-dried oleoresin, and the steam distillation process extracts its heaviest, most fundamental, and most essential components. It is a monolithic and concentrated oil, with a narrow, condensed profile, and little "diluted" by additional aromatic fractions.

The chemical profile of this batch is clearly dominated by heavy sesquiterpenoids, which translates into a calm, stable character and a long-lasting fragrance. The absence of light, volatile components gives it a raw and serious character typical of resinous oils with a contemplative character.

The oil is a translucent, mobile liquid, ranging in color from yellow to yellow-brown. The aroma is described as warm, balsamic, and distinctive, with a top-mid note classification. Its physicochemical parameters—a density of approximately 1.006–1.015 and a refractive index of approximately 1.524—confirm that this is a heavier, resinous, and stable oil, intended for work requiring depth and concentration.

Chemical profile – dominant ingredients:

  • Furanoeudesma-1,3-diene – 40.50% (monoterpenoid)
The main component of the oil. This high percentage indicates a highly resinous, stable, and low-volatile oil. This compound is responsible for the depth of aroma and long-lasting fragrance.
  • Curzerene – 16.42% (sesquiterpene)
High levels of curzerene are typical of myrrh oils distilled from the resin and give the oil a warm, balsamic-smoky character.
  • Lindestrene – 11.91% (monoterpenoid)
It contributes to the middle note of the oil and enhances its resinous-spicy profile.
  • Methoxyfuranogermacrene – 4.90% (sesquiterpenoid)
An ingredient that deepens the structure of the fragrance, influencing the mildness and consistency of the aroma.
  • Germacrene B (2.27%), Germacrene D (1.19%), Delta-Elemene (0.88%)
They complement the sesquiterpene profile, increasing the durability and stability of the oil.

Application

Establishment – Regulation
Myrrh oil, when diffused or inhaled, promotes grounding, stability, and a sense of connection. It is effective in times of overload, overstimulation, or the need to pause and focus.

Space – Silence
When used in a space, it helps create a calm, orderly scented environment, suitable for contemplative practices, silent work, and rituals requiring concentration and presence.
