Analysis of the composition of each batch

Juniper berry (Juniperus communis) essential oil, with its distinct "forest air" feel , has a fresh, coniferous, forest-like aroma that refreshes a space and helps create an atmosphere of lightness and mental clarity. In aromatherapy, it is often used in diffusion and massage blends to relieve body tension and restore a feeling of freshness and energy.

Juniper berry essential oil

Certified organic steam-distilled juniper berry (Juniperus communis) essential oil has a distinctive chemical profile with a distinctly fresh, coniferous and slightly citrus-resinous character.

The largest share in the composition is α-pinene (45.21%), it gives a characteristic, forest-like aspect of the scent and a feeling of freshness and space, and is responsible for the energizing, cleansing nature of the oil.

The second key ingredient, β-myrcene (32.12%), introduces a softer, slightly balsamic tone and lends the composition a gentler character, promoting muscle relaxation and overall well-being. Limonene (6.03%) imparts a subtle, citrusy nuance and enhances the impression of freshness. Sesquiterpenes such as α-humulene (2.02%), β-caryophyllene (1.94%), δ-cadinene (1.77%), and germacrene D round out the profile, lending depth and a light, resinous base to the fragrance.

The combination of high levels of α-pinene, β-myrcene, and limonene gives this batch of juniper oil a very fresh, clean, and energizing profile. Its aroma is distinctly coniferous, yet slightly soft and balsamic, making it well-suited for both air-purifying diffusion and aromatherapy blends that promote concentration and a feeling of lightness.

Application

Air purification – diffusion

Juniper oil is one of the classic oils for scenting a space. Its fresh, pine-like aroma helps create an atmosphere of purity, freshness, and natural lightness.

Concentration and mental clarity

It can be diffused while working, studying, or engaging in intense intellectual activity. The juniper aroma promotes a sense of mental space and refreshment.

Massage – circulation – feeling of lightness of the body

When diluted in a carrier oil, it can be used in massage blends for those who experience muscle tension or heavy legs. The monoterpenes present in the oil make it particularly useful in toning and activating compositions.

Security

Juniper berry essential oil is traditionally considered contraindicated during pregnancy and in individuals with kidney disease. However, Tisserand and Young do not recommend any specific precautions for the use of juniper essential oil. However, they note that juniper oil oxidizes readily, which may increase the risk of allergic skin reactions. Therefore, avoid using aged or oxidized oil. It is recommended to review the full safety profile described by Tisserand and Young. Robert Tisserand, Rodney Young, Essential Oil Safety , Second Edition, Churchill Livingstone Elsevier, 2014, p. 314.

Quality guarantee – GC/MS and GC/FID tests

Vessel essential oils are tested using GC/MS and GC/FID methods, confirming their authenticity, purity and compliance with the natural plant profile.

The analysis utilizes gas chromatography combined with mass spectrometry (GC/MS) in SCAN mode to precisely identify each component. Quantitative composition is determined using GC/FID. This ensures that we offer only natural oils, free from synthetic additives—ideal for professional aromatherapy applications. The distillery specializes in medicinal and aromatic plants (MAP) and complies with ISO 9001/22000 and Organic/COSMOS standards, among others.

Należy przechowywać go w chłodnym i ciemnym miejscu oraz wykonać próbę uczuleniową przed użyciem.
