Organic bergamot essential oil is organically grown and cold-pressed from the peel of the fruit in Italy. Bergamot essential oil has a warm citrus note that evokes a sense of calm and security. It helps you stay centered during a stressful day and prepare your mind for sleep. It also promotes body relaxation, relieving muscle and joint tension and soothing stomach discomfort.

This 100% natural oil, without any additives, is obtained by cold pressing. Its radiant, citrus-floral note is ideal for diffusion and fragrance compositions. For topical use, dilute carefully to avoid a reaction to sunlight – approximately 2 drops per 30 ml of carrier oil (≈0.4%).

Massage 1–2 drops of bergamot oil diluted in jojoba oil into the abdominal area. Suggestion: 1–2% concentration (e.g., 1–2 drops per 10 ml of carrier oil).

Prepare a soothing blend of bergamot in vegetable oil and gently apply to the affected area. It helps restore comfort and a sense of lightness. Suggestion: 1–3% for topical use.

Phototoxic – Avoid direct sunlight or tanning beds for up to 18 hours after applying bergamot to the skin. Bergamot should not be applied undiluted to the skin. Serious skin burns can occur if bergamot is applied while the skin is exposed to the sun or tanning beds. It can be safely applied to the skin without causing a phototoxic reaction in a blend at a concentration no higher than 0.4% (approx. 1–2 drops per 1 oz/30 ml carrier oil). If you use the oil on areas of the skin that are not exposed to sun or UV radiation, there are no safety concerns. After oxidation, bergamot essential oil may cause skin irritation or sensitization due to its high limonene content. Photosensitivity – does not apply to diffusion. Store in a cool, dark place.
