Organic Bergamot essential oil comes from organic cultivation and is cold-pressed from fruit peels in Italy. Bergamot essential oil has a warm, citrus note that evokes a sense of calm and security. It helps you stay "centered" on a stressful day and prepare your mind for sleep. It also supports body relaxation – it soothes muscle and joint tension and eases stomach discomfort.

This is a 100% natural oil, without any additives, obtained by cold-pressing. Its radiant, citrus-floral note is ideal for diffusion and fragrance compositions. For skin application, dilute it carefully to avoid sun reactions – approximately 2 drops per 30 ml of carrier oil (≈0.4%).

Safety

Safety and warnings:

• Phototoxicity: Avoid direct sun or tanning beds for up to 18 hours after applying bergamot to the skin. Severe skin burns may occur if bergamot is applied and the skin is exposed to sun or tanning lamps.
• Dilution: Bergamot must not be applied to the skin undiluted. It can be safely used (without phototoxic reaction) on the skin in a mixture at a concentration not exceeding 0.4% (approx. 1–2 drops per 1 oz/30 ml of carrier oil).
• Areas not exposed to sun: If you use the oil on a skin area that is not exposed to sun or UV radiation, there are no safety concerns.
• Oxidation: After oxidation, bergamot essential oil may cause skin irritation or sensitization due to its high limonene content.
• Diffusion: Photosensitization does not apply to diffusion.
• Storage: Store in a cool and dark place.
