What does "Complete" mean in the context of Ylang Ylang?
Ylang ylang oil is obtained by steam distillation and this process can be stopped at different stages, resulting in different fractions of the oil:

1. Ylang Ylang Extra – the first, most delicate fraction, rich in volatile compounds, used mainly in perfumes.
2. Ylang Ylang I, II, III – subsequent stages of distillation that produce an oil with an increasingly heavier, more woody and less volatile character.
3. Ylang Ylang Complete – oil obtained from full, uninterrupted distillation, combining all fractions in one composition.

When is the term "Complete" used?
In aromatherapy, when the full spectrum of the oil's properties is important, not just its light or heavy version.
In cosmetics and care products, where both volatile floral notes and deeper, more earthy tones are important.
