Analysis of the composition of each batch

Blue Tansy essential oil has a distinctive chemical profile that helps soothe inflammation, calm reactive skin, and relax muscle tension . At the same time, its fresh, herbal-camphorate nature makes it well-suited for aromatherapy for nervous system overload, mental fatigue, and the need to cleanse the breath .

Certified organic Moroccan tansy essential oil – naturally rich in chamazulene

Certified Moroccan tansy essential oil (Tanacetum annuum) is distinguished by a very distinctive chemical profile dominated by monoterpenes, camphor, and azulene compounds responsible for its intense blue color. GC/MS analysis of this batch shows that the oil has a distinctly fresh, herbal-camphorate character, typical of authentic Tanacetum annuum distilled from the flowering tops of the plant.

The largest component of the composition is sabinene (17.9%) , a monoterpene. This compound is responsible for the fresh, slightly green character of the aroma and its properties supporting the natural balance of the skin and respiratory comfort. Combined with other monoterpenes – such as β-pinene (8.3%), α-phellandrene (7.1%), p-cymene (5.74%), and β-myrcene (4.92%) – it creates a dynamic, energetic scent profile. Monoterpenes are known for their purifying properties and for supporting the air environment in a room, making the oil suitable for diffusion.

The second important chemical component of the oil is camphor (16.19%) , a member of the monoterpene ketone group. It is responsible for the slightly cooling, refreshing aroma and its distinct, slightly camphoraceous note. In aromatherapy, compounds from this group are associated with support for muscle tension and feelings of heaviness in breathing, which is why Blue Tansy oil is often used in respiratory and regenerative blends.

The combination of high monoterpene, camphor, and azulene content gives Blue Tansy oil from this batch a distinctly fresh, herbal, and therapeutic profile, rather than merely cosmetic. Aromatically, it is more dynamic and energetic than German chamomile, while retaining its characteristic soothing properties thanks to the presence of chamazulene.

This chemical profile indicates authentic Moroccan tansy oil with a well-preserved natural composition, which in aromatherapy can be used both in mixtures that calm emotions and in compositions that support skin comfort and fresh breath.
