The fresh and clean aroma of Ravintsara essential oil strongly resembles eucalyptus. Both oils share the same main component – 1,8-cineole, which is responsible for their clear, stimulating effect.

This confusion persisted in older publications and catalogs, which is why today it is always necessary to pay attention to the botanical name and chemotype.
