A well-distilled batch from India balances: freshness, smoothness, subtle depth. Geranial/neral ratio of 22.3 / 18.1 – ideal, indicating the purity of the raw material and the correctness of the distillation process. Noteworthy is the geranyl acetate content (5.05%) – a rarity in such quantities; this ester adds elegance and olfactory depth to the oil. Sesquiterpenes (β-caryophyllene, longifolene) form a solid backdrop, making the aroma not "flat" – this sets this oil apart from many "purely citrus" May Changs.
