Laurel essential oil supports clear breathing, concentration, and mental strengthening, bringing a sense of purity and inner stability. Additionally, it works well in space-cleansing blends and respiratory compositions, offering a fresh, elegant aroma without heavy camphor notes.
Laurel Essential Oil (Laurus nobilis)
Organic Laurel Oil from Greece – exceptional quality and elegance
Organic laurel oil is produced by steam distillation of leaves. Carefully selected distillation conditions promote subtle changes in the molecular profile, resulting in a characteristic, pure aroma and distinct organoleptic qualities that differentiate this oil from many batches from other regions. According to numerous customers, it is the most beautifully scented laurel oil they have ever encountered. A high content of α-terpinyl acetate (>7%) is rare in laurel oil and gives the composition a softness, elegance, and depth; the scent is more “rounded” and less sharp than in batches with a lower ester content.
Fresh, clear, eucalyptus-herbal with a subtle balsamic-woody note. The nose perceives purity and spaciousness, without a heavy, camphor overtone. Ideal as an ingredient in a respiratory blend, but also in compositions supporting concentration, space cleansing, and mental strengthening.

Safety
Safety and warnings:
-
Sensitive skin: Tisserand and Young indicate that bay laurel essential oil is not suitable for use on hypersensitive, diseased, or damaged skin
-
Methyleugenol: There is a generally low risk of sensitization, however, the oil may be potentially carcinogenic due to the presence of methyleugenol
-
Children: Oils high in 1,8-cineole can cause central nervous system and respiratory problems in young children and should not be applied to the face or near the face of children under 10 years of age. This oil should also not be applied to the skin of children under 2 years of age
-
Concentration: The authors recommend a maximum concentration of 0.5% in preparations for skin use, but it is worth noting that the European Union recommendation is different – 0.005% (which is approximately one drop per liter of medium)

MSDS and GC-MS
Quality guarantee – GC/MS and GC/FID tests
Vessel brand essential oils are tested using GC/MS and GC/FID methods, confirming their authenticity, purity, and compliance with the plant's natural profile.
The analysis uses gas chromatography combined with mass spectrometry (GC/MS) in SCAN mode to precisely identify each component. Quantitative composition is determined by GC/FID. This ensures that we offer only natural essential oils, without synthetic additives – ideal for professional aromatherapy applications. The distillery specializes in medicinal and aromatic plants (MAP). It operates, among others, according to ISO 9001/22000 and Organic/COSMOS standards.
