Analysis of the composition of each batch

Hyssop ct 1-8-cineole Essential Oil (Hyssopus officinalis var. decumbens)

Certified organic essential oil. The sweet, floral-herbal aroma of Hyssop ct. 1,8-Cineole promotes mental clarity and inner peace. Thanks to its high content of 1,8-Cineole (53.54%) – the main component of eucalyptus oil – it effectively helps during colds by supporting the respiratory tract.

Its balanced composition, with the presence of β-pinene, limonene, and ocimenes, gives it strong antiviral and antibacterial properties. Hyssop decumbens (chemotype 1,8-cineole) contains only 0.16% pinochamine, making it safe and recommended for therapeutic aromatherapy.

Its cooling and soothing properties help relax the body and support immunity, contributing to a sense of well-being. Hyssop ct. 1,8-cineole is a versatile oil that supports the body's natural regenerative processes and promotes overall well-being.

Our certified organic hyssop essential oil ct. 1,8-cineole is steam distilled from beautiful purple flowers found on the rocky slopes of Spain.

Differences between hyssops:

Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis)

  • Known for its stronger stimulating and antiviral properties.
  • It contains mainly ketones, which can be irritating and requires careful use.
  • More commonly used in traditional medicine, but may be less safe for long-term use.

Hyssop ct. 1,8-cineole (Hyssopus officinalis var. decumbens)

  • A variety with a higher concentration of 1,8-cineole, similar to eucalyptus, making it better suited for respiratory support.
  • It is milder, less irritating and more suitable for aromatherapy, especially during cold season.
  • More often used for inhalation, diffusion and gentle immune support.

Hyssop ct. 1,8-cineole (Hyssopus officinalis var. decumbens) is a milder variety of hyssop than the classic hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis), characterized by properties that support the respiratory tract and immunity.
