Lemon Organic Essential Oil (Citrus x limon)
Fresh, crisp, and full of citrus energy, this oil smells just like a freshly peeled lemon. Thanks to its high limonene content, known for its cleansing and immune-boosting properties, lemon oil brings purity, clarity, and lightness to any space.
In aromatherapy, it's valued for its antibacterial, antiseptic, cleansing, and concentration-improving properties. It's especially popular in autumn and winter, and as part of a morning skincare routine.
The organic oil is obtained by cold pressing from fresh lemon peels grown in sunny groves in the eastern regions of Greece.

Safety and warnings:
Cold-pressed lemon oil is phototoxic – it may cause skin reactions following sun exposure if used in concentrations higher than 12 drops per 30 ml of base (approximately 2%). It is recommended to use it in a low concentration (1–2%) when applied to the skin – for example, in massage or bath oils. Avoid exposure to sunlight or sunlamps for at least 12 hours. [Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young, Essential Oil Safety, 2nd ed., Churchill Livingstone Elsevier, 2014, pp. 87, 330–331]
Like other citrus peel oils high in (+)-limonene, lemon oil oxidizes easily. To prevent skin irritation, we recommend always capping the oil after use, storing it in the refrigerator, and avoiding using old or oxidized oil.
