Analysis of the composition of each batch

Coriander seed essential oil is one of those oils that works well when a person is both tired and tense. It can support relaxation, improve mental comfort, and help one "let go" while maintaining a certain clarity of mind. It does not smell like fresh coriander. It is an enveloping, warm aroma that combines the softness of flowers, spicy depth, and subtle citrus freshness.

Coriander Seed Organic Essential Oil (Coriandrum sativum)

Organic Coriander Seed Essential Oil from Greece – 63.79% Linalool

Organic coriander seed essential oil is not "green coriander/cilantro" leaf oil, but Coriandrum sativum Seed Oil, steam-distilled from seeds, certified organic, and originating from Greece. It has a warm, floral-herbal, and subtly spicy aroma, much milder and more elegant than the characteristic scent of fresh coriander leaves. Initially, it is fresh and slightly spicy, but it quickly develops a soft, subtly sweet, and floral depth.

Lot E1001924 contains as much as 63.79% linalool, supplemented by 7.04% γ-terpinene, 6.65% α-pinene, 4.98% geranyl acetate, and 4.40% camphor. This is an exceptionally clear chemical profile, dominated by monoterpene alcohols, but fresh monoterpenes and a small fraction of camphor give the oil energy, lightness, and a more distinct character.

In aromatherapy, coriander seed is particularly interesting as an oil that connects the nervous system with tension reactions felt in the body. Its high linalool content gives it relaxing and harmonizing properties, while α-pinene, γ-terpinene, and limonene counteract the feeling of heaviness. This makes it a good choice for mental overload, emotional tension, fatigue, and situations where stress affects digestive comfort and muscle tension.

Digestive comfort – aromatic abdominal massage

Add coriander oil to a carrier oil and gently massage the abdomen. It can be used in aromatherapy compositions after a heavy meal, when feeling heavy, or experiencing abdominal tension. A 1–2% dilution is usually sufficient for this application.

Muscle tension and relaxing massage

Combine with a carrier oil and use for massage in areas where tension accumulates – neck, shoulders, back, or legs.

The high content of linalool combined with fresh monoterpenes makes coriander well-suited for blends designed for relaxing massage after exertion or a stressful day.
