Cinnamon Bark essential oil is an incredibly intense oil that warms, energizes, and powerfully purifies space, a strong natural antiseptic with anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Additionally, it works as a powerful ingredient in natural cleaning products, but due to its strength, it is not intended for daily topical use.
Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil (Cinnamomum zeylanicum / Cinnamomum verum)
Certified Organic Cinnamon Bark Oil from Sri Lanka – Cinnamaldehyde 68.44%
Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) certified organic essential oil contains as much as 68.44% (E)-cinnamaldehyde. This means it is exceptionally strong and effective. Just a few drops of the intense, spicy cinnamon bark oil can fill a space with a warm, radiant aroma. Its air-purifying properties help support health and boost energy, especially during seasonal changes.
Cinnamon bark oil is rich in cinnamaldehyde, which makes it too strong for daily topical use, but an ideal ingredient for natural cleaning products. Our certified organic cinnamon bark essential oil is steam distilled from wild-grown Ceylon cinnamon trees in the forests of Sri Lanka.
It should be noted that Cinnamomum verum and Cinnamomum zeylanicum are the same plant, with the former name being more current. The term Cinnamomum zeylanicum is gradually falling out of use in favor of Cinnamomum verum.

Blends for Cinnamon Bark Oil
Cinnamon Bark oil (Cinnamomum verum) is a "hot oil" with an intense, warm, and spicy aroma. It blends perfectly with:
-
Citrus: Orange, lemon, bergamot – energizing and purifying blends
-
Woody and Balsamic: Cedarwood, frankincense, myrrh – warming
-
Floral: Lavender, geranium, ylang ylang – harmonizing
Blending with spices (with caution):
- Due to its strongly warming properties, it can be combined with spice oils (ginger, clove, nutmeg), but only in minimal amounts to avoid excessive intensity and irritation.
- To balance its powerful effect, it's worth adding soothing oils such as lavender, geranium, or citrus, which give the composition harmony and freshness.
