Analysis of the composition of each batch

Copaiba Oleoresin Balm gently soothes, calms, and supports tissue regeneration , especially after exercise or in cases of skin hypersensitivity. Additionally, it has anti-inflammatory and grounding properties, making it ideal for massage, skincare, and subtle aromatherapy with a gentle, honeyed, and woody character.

Copaiba Balsam Oleoresin (Copaifera officinalis)

Certified Organic Copaiba Balsam from Brazil - Beta-Caryophyllene

Certified Organic Copaiba Oleoresin Balm – a thicker, fluid fraction of the resin; it is used similarly to essential oils, but has a gentler, "softer" profile that helps calm the mind. It soothes sensitive areas, supports skin comfort, and relaxation after exercise. A delicate, honey-woody aroma, for those who prefer subtle scents. Copaiba offers strong support during colds and is also an excellent choice for those who appreciate more subdued aromas. Copaiba is an exceptionally versatile oleoresin: for diffusion, grounding, massage, and cosmetics – calming, regenerative, and very well-tolerated.

One of the best massage resins : it has anti-inflammatory, tissue-soothing and relaxing properties.

Our wild-harvested Copaiba Balsam is sustainably sourced from tropical evergreen trees (commonly known as copal or copaiba) in the rainforests of Brazil.

What is oleoresin and how does it differ from classic essential oils?

Copaiba balm (oleoresin/oleoresin) is a natural, liquid resin containing a volatile fraction. Unlike classic essential oils (e.g., lavender or lemon), which retain only the volatile fraction after distillation, oleoresin also retains resinous components (diterpenes).

What does this mean? Oleoresin is thicker and more balsamic than distilled oil (Resin Oil), and at the same time thinner than the resin fraction itself after evaporation of the volatile part (i.e. "pure resin" without sesquiterpenes).

How to use?

  • For skin care – after dilution: face 0.5–2%, body/spot 3–5% in a carrier (serum, balm, ointment)
  • For aromatherapy – perfect for massage and passive inhalation
  • As a therapeutic raw material – thanks to the high content of beta-caryophyllene, it has anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties

Copaiba full-spectrum – pure, unprocessed oleoresin

Copaiba is a pure, unprocessed, full-spectrum oleoresin (with diterpenes) obtained from a specific species ( Copaifera officinalis , Brazil, wildcrafted/tapped). It has a richer composition than standard, distilled Copaifera Resin Oil or blends of Copaifera spp.

INCI (EU): COPAIFERA OFFICINALIS RESIN
