Sweet fennel essential oil supports digestive comfort and relaxation of abdominal tension, helping with feelings of heaviness and discomfort. Additionally, it has a soothing and regulating effect on emotions, bringing a warm sense of balance and lightness.
Sweet Fennel Organic Essential Oil (Foeniculum vulgare var. dulce)
Organic Fennel Oil from Greece – ideal chemical balance
Organic sweet fennel essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from seeds grown in Chalkidiki, Central Macedonia. It has a very nice chemical balance: trans-anethole 51.9% (not excessively high), fenchone 10.7% (balances sweetness with a slight bitterness and freshness), 8.15% alpha-pinene and alpha-phellandrene give a pleasant, clear tone. This is a therapeutic, deep oil, supporting the digestive and emotional systems.
The scent is anise-like, fresh, sweet, and somewhat earthy. It's an aroma with character that blends beautifully with many compositions — from citrus to herbs and conifers. It's an "oil for the abdomen": often used to support digestive comfort (topically on the abdomen, in well-diluted mixtures, short-term). Its distinct, comforting presence helps the body "gather strength" during seasonal changes (toning and warming during cold, dry periods).
This is an oil of "transformation and courage" – it strengthens one's sense of power and inner stability. For many people, its sweetness is comforting, but for someone highly scent-sensitive, it might be too intense in its pure form. In that case, just 1 drop among other oils is enough to add depth to the entire composition.

Application
Digestive system and emotional tensions in the abdominal area
It has antispasmodic, calming effects, and supports peristalsis. This is why it is traditionally used in "for the belly" blends (in diffusion or diluted topically).
Transitional periods, cold/dry conditions
Supports hormonal and energetic balance, adds "warmth" – especially when anxiety and tension are easily present.
Practical use
This is a helpful oil, not for everyday use.
Excellent for:
- short inhalations during stress or overeating,
- warm compresses on the abdomen (1 drop per tablespoon of carrier oil),
- combining with citrus if you want to enhance the "brightness and warmth" of the blend.
This is not a scent for spa relaxation — rather therapeutic, deep, supporting the digestive and emotional systems.

Quality guarantee – GC/MS and GC/FID tests
Vessel brand essential oils are tested using GC/MS and GC/FID methods, which confirms their authenticity, purity, and compliance with the plant's natural profile.
The analysis uses gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC/MS) in SCAN mode to precisely identify each component. Quantitative composition is determined by GC/FID. This ensures that we offer only natural essential oils, without synthetic additives – ideal for professional aromatherapy applications. The distillery specializes in medicinal and aromatic plants (MAP). It operates, among others, according to ISO 9001/22000 and Organic/COSMOS standards.
